Tahir Ali has been building her Dannie B Speaks brand for over 15 years. After spending many years writing comedy for others and contributing to other blogs; Tahir decided to officially start her own website and it launched in the summer of 2012. The brand consists of writing, podcasting, photography (landscape), history, and all-around content creation. Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio Tahir is a graduate of Columbus Public schools as well as a graduate of THEE best HBCU ever...Hampton University. This website is a look into the creativity that Tahir brings. Tahir started writing at a very young age, and to this day it continues to be her passion. In the beginning, the focus was celebrity news and gossip because that is what brought in the most views. Eventually, becoming bored, bewildered, and growing a strong distaste for the celebrity lifestyle, Tahir decided to focus her writing skills on more important issues and other things that interest her. She always says, "If I don't love what I do, others won't either." Over the years, the Dannie B Speaks brand has grown into a high-traffic website, three successful podcasts, and a growing YouTube channel. Tahir also plans to take her writing career to the next level with pending book deals as well as various script ideas on the table. Tahir's writing skills, comedic timing, and charismatic personality; it allows her to relate to a wide variety of people. She may appear laid back and quiet at first, but just know that she always has "Plenty to say."
