Dear Pat Houston

Pat ‘Baldy’ Houston…I won’t take up too much of your time because trust and believe this won’t take long at all. I really don’t have the time, just like you don’t have the time to get your edges back. So I’ve been reading on social media that you’re auctioning off the late great Whitney Houston’s belongings. I was counting down until you did this sweetie. Bobby Brown’s sister, Leolah Brown even called you out and said your true colors will be shown soon. And here we go. Now I understand she’s been gone for 4 years now but…her daughter hasn’t been and her mother’s still here. Bobbi Kristina hasn’t been gone a whole year and you’re already selling off, I’m sorry auctioning off (I guess that sounds more professional) her mother’s possessions. This shows complete and total disrespect to me. Her driver’s license though? Her passport? Every damn thing! Y’all must have been cleaning out the condo and said…hey…we’re broke as hell and need some money…let’s auction off Whitney’s hair brush. Then shit got real and you decided to gather everything of her’s to put on the auction block…so for that…now I must gather you. Now I know that you can’t hold onto Whitney’s possessions forever, but something about this just doesn’t seem okay in my eyes and other’s as well. Most family’s and/or estates will hold onto a famous person’s personal things for quite sometime. But you couldn’t wait. It’s one thing to auction off her wedding dress or maybe a gown she wore to the Grammy’s or performed in; but to sell things like her driver’s license, her awards, her passport is beyond crazy too me. Too soon! This to me shows desperation to where you are trying to make money off of anything and you know people will buy these things. Yes…that’s the purpose of selling things, but come on…this is just a bit much! I’m sure the bidding will start off at some crack head prices and in the end someone will get an American Music Award for about $150.00. We all know good and well that if Bobbi Kristina was still living that you would not be doing this. We also know that you nor your husband…her own son don’t appear to have any respect for Ms. Cissy Houston and her feelings. That must be why she don’t fuck with y’all. I know she isn’t giving you and Gary a dime of that money from Whitney’s estate, or she was and y’all smoked it up or some shit. So what’s the next best thing to do…sell…I mean auction off Whitney Houston’s possessions. Gary…I’ll get on your free loading ass in a minute.

Baldy…since your sister-in-law has passed you haven’t done one positive thing to preserve her legacy. For you to have cared so much for Whitney and had worked for her all of these years, you surely have a fucked up way of showing it. Not only were you here manager, but you are her sister-in-law and trumps everything. At a certain point the bullshit needs to stop and compassion for her legacy and your family needs to kick in. I never trusted your ass and called you out on this year’s ago. I’ve been giving you the side-eye since day one. Let me tell you another thing that soft voice that you put on ain’t fooling shit out of me. First you brought Oprah to your house where that benefited the both of you. OWN was struggling at the time and you needed money. You had Oprah come to your unfurnished home and sat in the damn kitchen most of the interview…I’m sorry…stood in the kitchen most of the interview and y’all ain’t talk about shit! When Bobbi came out I cringed. She was so uncomfortable and clearly didn’t want to talk about her mother. Cissy was there and paid Oprah and you complete and total DUST! Then it was that bullshit train wreck of a reality show, ‘The Houston’s: On Our Own;’ that was just sad and painful to watch. I said some horrible things about Bobbi’s behavior and treatment of her grandmother because that’s what we were presented with. Bobbi was suffering and trying to deal with the loss of her mother and a few months later you think it’s a great idea to shove cameras in her face and present this to the public. GIRL BYE! You knew we were going to tune in and see this. Instead of putting Bobbi front and center you should have been encouraging her and Nick to get the help they needed because EVERYONE could see they were fucked up each and every episode. If they didn’t care that they were being filmed and shown that way, are we supposed to believe that they weren’t like this every second of every day. You tried to portray yourself as the caring aunt who was worried about your niece; instead you were shown as nothing but an enabler. I’m pretty sure that you were scared to confront Bobbi about her behavior, drinking and drug use because you know she would’ve got rid of your ass faster than your hair is running from your scalp. My last question to you is…Where are the proceeds from the sells going? Most likely not back into the estate…more like into your personal bank account. GIRL!! YOU TRIED IT!! I bet you have that ring Nick Gordon claims he can’t find of Bobbi’s. He said it was on her finger when they took her to the hospital and now no one has seen it. He’s suspect as hell, but I can see you pulling stunts too. Hopefully with the money you get from these so-called auctions you will be able to invest in some Rogaine for Women. I heard it works wonders. It’s about time for you and your husband to go ahead and get a job.

Oh…I’m not finished…………..

Dear Gary Houston…now I know that you had a struggle NBA career that didn’t last long at all (but still impressive you made it that far) and from that point on you and your wife decided to work for your sister. That’s great…most people tend to keep it in the family especially when dealing with celebrity…I get it. However, your last name isn’t even Houston, you were never adopted by Whitney’s father. So why are you and your wife continuing to use that last name? But I digress. I’m getting on your ass because you are allowing your wife to continue to do bullshit that involves your sister’s legendary legacy; this leads me to believe that you are in on it as well. I know it’s hard to move on when you have been used to riding someone’s coat tails for thirty some years, but really? This is out of control. You should be putting a stop to this. Think about how your mother feels. I know she doesn’t deal with y’all and she keeps to herself in New Jersey, but this is out of control. She won’t be around forever. Instead of continuing to cash in on your sister’s legacy, you should be trying to do positive things with what Whitney has left the world. Keep her music alive, work on telling her true story (even though we really don’t care anymore)…and if you’re going to auction off things, do it at an appropriate time. Not less than a year after her daughter passes and while your mother is still alive. Because you’re looking as desperate as she is.
