Danielle aka Dannie B Speaks is a writer, podcaster, photographer (landscape), local historian, speaker, activist, and all-around content creator. She’s a graduate of THEE best HBCU ever…Hampton University. Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio…Danielle continues to be a proud resident where she loves to educate others (as well as herself) on the history of this wonderful city. Her blog and writing platform is an extension of her social media posts. Danielle writes whatever comes to mind (sometimes with a dash a comedic flare) and hopes that others can relate; and if not, that’s perfectly fine…as long as her voice is being heard.
After spending many years writing comedy for others and contributing to other blogs; she eventually decided to start up her own site. Her first website was started over 10 years ago where the focus was solely on entertainment and celebrity gossip. Becoming bored, bewildered and growing a strong distaste for the celebrity lifestyle, Danielle decided to focus her writing skills on more important issues. Enter the creation of Dannie B Speaks. Over the years, the Dannie B Speaks brand has grown into a successful podcast, YouTube channel with all of this is in preparation for taking her writing to the next level with possible book deals and various script ideas on the table.
Danielle’s writing skills, comedic timing, and charismatic personality allow her to relate to a wide variety of people. Her personality may be laid back and quiet, but just know that she always has “Plenty to say!”
