Hopefully this will be the last post that I do regarding the 2016 presidential election. That is unless something extra crazy comes up and I just have to speak on it. I’ve already voted, the debates are over and now I just want to sit back, watch the rest of the shit show and wait. I decided not to go in too hard on Trump anymore because honestly it’s getting old. He’s a joke, his followers (supporters) are a joke, and it’s just way too easy. Throughout the election I’ve been listening to people who don’t support Hillary Clinton or those who are still undecided. Of course I’m thinking to myself…”What is there to think about? Just don’t vote for that fool!” He’s unprofessional and unqualified…among thousands of other reasons but who seriously has the time to list them all. So why is it that people still believe she isn’t right for the job? Think about it…this is almost familiar territory for us from our experience over the past eight years. We’ve been dealing with blatant and obvious racism since the announcement of the first black nominee from a major party for presidency of United States; to him actually winning the presidential election and becoming the 44th president of this WONDERFUL (sarcasm) country for two terms. Now…we’re on the verge of electing the first female president of the United States, and the good ol’ boys are OVER IT and have lost their minds. Just like President Obama…it doesn’t matter that she’s more than qualified and competent to run the country…oh no. In the land of the free and home of the brave that doesn’t matter. Her “handicap” against her isn’t being a black man in a white man’s world, her’s is being…dare I say…a WOMAN in a white man’s world! How dare she…like the negroes…not know her place? Now…the sexist, misogynist and women with no mind and self-respect of their own are in full effect.
I’ll be the first to admit that I was a huge Bernie Sanders supporter from jump. It wasn’t that I didn’t like Hillary Clinton because I have a huge amount of respect for her. It wasn’t that I didn’t trust her like other people who don’t want to research on their own what has really gone on and just want to be brainwashed by the media. Yes…there’s a reason why her trust factor with the people is low I get that and I had my doubts at first. However…”GOOGLE IS YOUR FRIEND!” I’ll just leave it at that. Just like when, then Senator Obama was running, he spoke to me…the same way Bernie Sanders did. I’m a progressive and that was the biggest thing that drew me to Bernie. So when Hillary won the nomination I wasn’t hurt, I wasn’t acting like a spoiled toddler who couldn’t get her way…I decided to research more about Hillary, her policies and her platform and then judge. Not only that…I already knew that she was qualified based on her experience and knowledge. At first I became a #GirlIGuessImWithHer; but now I’m proud to say “I’m with her!” No shame. Now I have to ask those who are still on the fence or who just don’t trust her. Why? Is it these Emails? Is it what may or may not have happened in Benghazi? Yes…she’s made mistakes…we all do, she’s admitted to it over and over again. Her mistakes are just more elevated because of her position, and that’s understandable why they should be looked at a little harder. However, just incase you weren’t aware I’m here to tell you…MEN have been making mistakes in this fashion and much worse for years. If it’s a political thing or whatever…or any type of important decisions, for years and no one has ever been crucified for it like she is. This is just a way to insult her without telling her to stay in her place as a woman. I’m just going to touch on a few more things, because I seriously don’t have the time to hit every single point I want to.
Let’s get these emails to of the way. First off…she was cleared of any wrong doing. She was questioned for a ridiculous amount of hours in one day and they still couldn’t find any wrong doing, or anything she did that put security at risk. Not only that but if you believe for one minute that these deleted emails were never recovered and looked at and analyzed…you’re just as naive and Trump and his team believe that you are. There have been so many government accounts that have been hacked where Hillary’s private account was never touched. Does it make it right and excuse her for doing this? No, but the reality is many politicians use private emails (both democrats and republicans which they’ve admitted) even when instructed not to do it. Oh…guess what? People delete emails everyday. The Bush administration deleted over 200 emails before they left office. No one is asking where these emails are and why they were deleted. If this is all that Trump and his people keep harping on with Hillary and this is what makes her unfit to be president…then I’m good with this. It just means that they have nothing else to try to get her on.
Women who support Trump! Like any Trump supporter I seriously have many questions, but as a woman…girl BYE! Especially after all of this information that has come out recently. How? I get it though…so many women for so many years have been conditioned to protect the male ego. You feel going against Trump and not supporting him while he’s down is not right. Yeah…okay girl. This says a lot about how you all feel about yourselves. He’s talked about how he treats women which is not respectful in any way. He calls women horrible names. His fat ass has the nerve to judge women based on their looks and weight. Not only that…women are coming out the woodwork claiming to have been sexually assaulted by him after he admitted that he sexually assaults women. I can guarantee that the women still supporting him were front row to condemn Bill Cosby when he was only being accused of these horrible acts. These are the same women who are afraid that a transgender woman will sexually abuse their daughters in the bathroom. Give me a break! Not saying that just because Hillary is a woman so all women need to support her. No, because like I mentioned before, I wasn’t a supporter at first. Just look at who you are throwing your support behind. Calling it “teenage boy talk,” “boys being boys,” and other non-sense that makes it seem like this is okay. We don’t need a boy in the White House…we need an adult. But also like I mentioned…some women will make excuses and protect men and their egos no matter what.
Men who won’t vote for Secretary Clinton simply because she’s a woman. You are simply just trash. Yes…there are men out here who just hate women. They have no respect for women, they think that they’re superior to women, think women can’t do what a man can do, feel a woman should stay in their place as they believe this is strictly a man’s world; among many of BS things. These men are usually single, lonely and bitter…and this is why. The one’s that I question and what makes it sad are the men (and women) who feel this way and they have daughters, wives, mothers, sisters, nieces, female friends, female cousins; you get where I’m going with this. You are sending a message to the women in your family…mainly your daughters that you can’t be anything you want to be. You aren’t good enough to be president of the United States. You can’t be a leader in any form. You aren’t strong. You need to be weak. I’ve heard men say, “I just can’t vote for a woman president!” WTF? Well…let me say this, Hillary is more man than you ever will be! Moving on…….
The people who are constantly bringing up what President Bill Clinton did during his presidency. Ummm…excuse me? Last I checked he’s not the one running for president. I’m so sick of the finger-pointing with these grown ass fingers. What’s funny to me is how many people have all of these issues with President Clinton now but while he was president he was one of the best ever and got all of this praise and admiration from people. Especially black people who all of a sudden have issues with the Clinton’s. When they left office…we loved us some Clinton’s. Hillary ran against President Obama in 2008 and y’all changed your tune real quick. “Who does this white woman think she is?” “She just knew she had the black vote?” Serious side-eye! Remember at one point in time Trump and the Clinton’s were cool. Now he’s talking a different tune because his insecurities are in full effect. His ego won’t allow him to lose to a woman. also, to prove that “no one has respect for women like he does,” GIRL…he has to start picking on President Clinton. What he did inside and outside of that oval office has nothing to do with this election. Besides he was a great president. And why is Secretary Clinton being put on blast for how she may or may not have treated the women that President Clinton allegedly cheated with. What does that have to do with anything? She wasn’t supposed to have any reaction as a married woman? She’s the wife! She’s the victim. Not his alleged mistresses. She wasn’t allowed to be pissed off? So anyone who has a problem with how she may have allegedly reacted and supposedly treated these women, it says a lot about you and that you’re okay with cheating and the wife or husband who was cheated on just needs to take it and move on. That just shows more desperation at a failed attempt to discredit her off of some BS…and some are still falling for it. Ridiculous!
The wonderful “Bernie or bust” crew. They are nothing but spoiled, entitled children. Bernie didn’t win and has since threw his support behind Hillary. Get over it! I don’t even think they know what they’re fighting for anymore. Some just want to fight against Hillary. One minute they say they’ll still follow Bernie’s lead, but when it’s said he’s supporting Hillary…they come back with…”Well…I may still vote for Trump.” What? Excuse me? Voting for Trump is going against EVERYTHING that Bernie campaigned and what he stands for. That’s nothing but white privilege at it’s finest. You still feel that you will be okay under a Trump presidency so you’re willing to hurt the rest of us just because you can’t get what you want. That just proves you don’t really care about the issues. You can’t call yourself a progressive which is what Bernie is and what his campaign was about then turn around and hit the button next to Trump. It just doesn’t work that way. I’m sorry…it just doesn’t.
All I’m going to say about third-party voters is…girl! They’re just wasting their time. If you can’t see by now the obvious sexism and misogyny going on within the election then I don’t know what else to tell you. Even in third-party votes Gary Johnson is winning over Jill Stein and he doesn’t know anything that’s going on. You would think Stein would get more of the progressive votes but…I guess not. If you believe sexism exists and you’re okay with it, then that speaks volumes on the type of person you are. Racism and sexism are almost one in the same. Instead of hating or discriminating against someone based on their race, it’s just based on their sex. It’s sad and ridiculous. What makes it even worse is that either one of these things are both an issue in 2016. Regardless…at the end of the day many, even his supporters know Trump would be a disaster for this country. But in the end…he’s still a man with a huge ego. If you don’t support Secretary Clinton, as an adult you should be looking to vote against someone who we all know isn’t qualified. I have no problem with having a president who’s not a politician. I would like to see that one day. But not this one. So wasting your time by giving your vote to a third-party candidate or writing in a celebrity or Bernie isn’t going to change anything. This is why other country’s are laughing at us with their popcorn popped, wine in hand…just looking and waiting. Anyone with common sense can see that if Hillary was a man with these same faults and all of the experience she had…this wouldn’t be an issue, she would be destroying Trump in the polls more than she already is. Some people just aren’t ready to let a woman lead and be in charge. If this election wasn’t proof enough that sexism and misogyny still exist, just like the last eight years has proved to the mainstream that racism still exist…I don’t know. There’s nothing left to say except to please GO VOTE!
