I bought pants out of Forever 21…

I have a confession. It had been a goal of mine to buy a shirt and pants out of Forever 21. The only reason it was a so-called goal is that for years I wasn’t able to fit anything out of that store unless it was an accessory…I’m just saying. It seems that I’ve been feeling myself a lot lately and sashayed my brand new acting ass on up to Easton and hit it into Forever 21 like I knew what I was doing. Of course, the clothes aren’t expensive and it’s so much in that store. After looking around for a while (just like a kid in a candy store) and bought 3 pairs of pants and a graphic t-shirt. The t-shirt was fine but the pants…ALL OF THEM…now wait a damn minute! I will admit that they do make my butt look cute, however; the fit is weird as hell…on ALL OF THEM! Only one pair was at my comfort level and that was pushing it. The other two pairs, one fit more snug on my non-existent hips and the other pair fit like skinny pants. Over the past year, I’ve bought pants out of Pac Sun, Urban Outfitters and even online at Fashionova. These are other stores that I couldn’t shop out of for clothes, now I can and the clothes whore in me completely come out. Each pair of pants that I’ve bought all fit differently. I mean..they are all the same damn size…a LARGE…just thought I would throw that in there because I don’t know when the last time was I wore a large anything🤷🏽‍♀️ 💅🏽. Let me say that almost every single pair of pants fit differently. Going in, I had a feeling that the Forever 21 clothes were going to be…let’s just say interesting; and yes, they lived up to my expectations that’s for sure.

This is just another post to let you know that if you stay focused on your goals, then even the things that seem minor can feel like the largest defeat ever!
