Allies…no when to say when!

We appreciate our allies; we truly do. But some of you all are doing way too much. With all of the anger and frustration, you are unleashing; it’s causing law enforcement or whoever else to want to take their anger out on us. We are going to be the ones to pay. Please be aware that all of the extra is also taking the focus off of the main issue. We know that you mean well; however, we are in a no-win situation here. The thing is we need our allies. After all of these years we know for sure they won’t and don’t listen to us. You all are helping spread the word, the message, and the purpose; but somewhere the message is getting lost in all of the mess. The mess being you all are not being taken seriously now. All of the comments aren’t on the issues anymore; it’s about how these “entitled brats who don’t have jobs are just angry. You all are making a mess of THEIR city and encouraging the cops to keep antagonizing because you deserve everything that you have coming to you.” I say…well at least they are doing something instead of showing their privilege by being able to not even realize why these “entitled brats” are protesting. But then, I get confused,”But…what about us?” “What about the message?” Did you forget so quickly about what they are out here protesting? We already know the keyboard gangsters don’t care about black lives, now it’s just about trying to make the ones out here who are at least doing something feel guilty. Hello…have you met this generation? They don’t give a damn what your opinion is. The truth is they are scared of Millennials and Gen Z. I mean…TERRIFIED of them! I’m here for it, but the original cause is getting lost and that’s how they want it to be.

White allies…allies of all races and nationalities helping us in this fight…we need you. Just don’t give them the satisfaction. Keep doing what you are doing but don’t let your arrogance and entitlement take away from the main cause.
