This is an extremely important episode. We are discussing the importance of HBCUs period, and especially in this climate. After Kisha conducted some interviews with people who attended both HBCUs and PWIs, it opened our eyes to how some people truly value or don’t value HBCUs. Attending an HBCU is definitely “A Different World” no pun intended, but this conversation needed to be had for numerous reasons. Are there prestigious HBCUs? Why do we advocate so hard for HBCUs? Why do we want you to send the children in your family to an HBCU? Should you attend an HBCU if you plan on going to college? The conversation gets real! We also briefly discuss (because that is all they deserve on the same platform as an important topic) the mess that is Kim and Kanye. Is he really being abusive? Or is this just sensationalism?
